ALTA/ACSM surveys: Surveys to establish
the property lines and reference improvements to the property lines and
possible encumbrances that may affect the title to such property. This type
of survey is typically for commercial properties and requested by financial
institutions that are financing a new business enterprise purchasing valuable
real estate, for new construction, etc.

Construction surveys: Surveys to establish
alignment and grade for the construction of roads, bridges, buildings, and
utilities.

Topographic surveys: Surveys used in
architectural and engineering design for new construction, drainage, site
design, and landscape design. The surveys consist of detailed maps prepared
of the site reflecting both physical features and the elevations of the
terrain.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) surveys:
Surveys to establish position and elevation on the earth’s
surface for the safe navigation of the airways.

Flood elevation surveys: Surveys that
are used to determine whether properties lie within flood zones as established
by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This type of survey assists
the clients in the removal of their property from flood zones if possible,
through the process of Letters of Map Amendment or Letters of Map Revision
